Last Sunday it was Potato Chips (or Crips) Day and from today we offer you Taurus by HZPC and Kilimo Kisasa . Taurus is ideal for crips and there is a high demand for this variety in eastern Africa.
Although crisps are not very nutritious, only as a snack aside, Taurus is a real opportunity for farmers and smallholder farmers in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, DRC, etc. Due to the high demand, farmers have a certainty for market and income. By support of HZPC, Kilimo Kisasa can guarantee a much lower price for farmers through its multiplication process which takes place in Uganda, compared to the import from the Netherlands. Next order of Taurus will be available from 2024.
